Donna Powle, LLB

Donna Powle is a co-founder of Powle & Hodson Lawyers (formerly Palmer & Associates). She joined Palmer & Associates in 2002, working alongside Simon Palmer, and became a director of the firm in 2011. In April 2017, with the departure of Simon from the firm, Donna rebranded. Previously, Donna practiced at law firms in Wellington and Auckland.

Donna has extensive expertise in all aspects of commercial law and commercial property work. She has particular experience in:

  • Property & Business Acquisitions and Divestments;
  • Finance and Property Developments;
  • Commercial Leasing
  • Sale & Purchase of various types of properties including sale and lease-back design-build arrangements;
  • Trust Administration and Asset Planning

Donna has a particular interest and niche area of expertise in Pharmacy acquisitions and dispositions, and associated company structuring.

She also has wide experience in all aspects of family & business asset protection to provide for private client needs.

Donna is a born and bred Aucklander. She has a lively personality and is a quick strategic thinker who enjoys working closely with her clients. She is married to Wilco and is kept busy with their two children, now young adults, supporting them in their many sport and school endeavours. She is a sociable foodie with an appreciation of great food and fine bubbly.
