Brenda Paul

Brenda was born and raised in Sri Lanka. She is tri-lingual – she speaks Sinhala, Tamil and English. Brenda graduated from London South Bank University with a Bachelor of Laws, and in 2018 she migrated to New Zealand to gain her Post-Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Waikato. She has worked as a paralegal in immigration law (United Kingdom) and as an assistant case manager in personal injury claims and litigation at WNS Global Services (Sri Lanka).

Brenda joined Powle & Hodson in 2022. She aspires to practice law (she has a particular interest in conveyancing) and is currently completing her professional studies.

In her spare time, Brenda likes to spend time with family, watch Netflix documentaries, explore and travel around her new stomping ground, and hunt for Sri Lankan restaurants to enjoy spicy cuisine.

“One step at a time” and “never give up” are her guiding principles in life.
